Spring Lipstick Picks!

Heyy Everyone!
Hope you all had a great Easter! I thought I would do a spring post today and as Jade did Spring nail polish picks I thought I would continue with the theme but do lipsticks! A couple of these are very recent purchases and you should see them in a haul coming up!
Group Picture
Swatches of all of these are below btw!

So the first one is from the Body Shop and is what they call a vanilla stick (so it smells like vanilla!) and it can actually be put on eyes as well but I love the colour for lips!

MUA lipsticks are great! The formula is just fantastic, I got this quite a while ago but I think the bright colour is perfect for this spring so I found myself picking it off my shelf again. (Shade 12)

This is from the normal Elf £1.50 range, they have a lot of colours but this one is Charming and I love it, at first I found the formula drying but with these lipsticks you have to use them a bit more to get it applying to your lips smoothly. They also have a really lovely smell, which not all lipsticks have.

This is one of the new Revlon Lip Butters that have only just come out to the UK, which I am really excited about btw! Please leave suggestions of which ones I should buy next!
This colour is Peach Melba and has a great sheen to it, it is the perfect colour for a bright day.

Finally this is one of the Revlon Colourstay ultimate liquid lipsticks, this one is in Premium Pink and is amazing, be expecting a review on these very soon, but this particular colour is very striking and is perfect for the brave!

From left to right goes from bottom to top.

Really hope you liked this post, tell me your top spring pictures below!

LUSH Think Pink Review

Heey Everyone!!

Well then it's been kind of chilly in England at the moment where I live unfortunately but you know what that means...BATH TIME!

I've used Think Pink from the store LUSH which I'm sure you've all heard about and I am rarely disappointed. I got this product as a present for my birthday so it's been in my LUSH box for a while now so I figured I should use it and I'm really glad I did.

The original smell was what first put me well off, it seem to be a very strong scent of the LUSH store so no specific smell I can think of, I think it's supposed to be floral from the flowers on top of the bomb, it's also bright pink and turns the bath water a hot pink colour I found this actually worked because I used the while bomb in one go which is something I try to avoid doing on a general basis.

This is what the bath bomb looked like after the majority the bubbles were gone from the Calm One Calm All S&G bath lotion. The scent turned out to be lovely and light once it was in the bath which surprised me:) I don't know if it was the bah lotion or this bath bomb but there was a creamy substance on the surface of the bath which was really nice and made me think I was wearing velvet. Also a nice but messy finish to my bath I found little paper hearts around my bath which is a nice attention to detail.

Love or Hate- Orange Nailpolish?

Hiyaa Everybody!
How are you today?
Time for another love or hate post! Today I decided to apply my orange nail polish, as I was walking downstairs my mum commented on how she wasn't keen on orange nail polish but then my sister complimented me on it :S So I figured it was perfect for Love or Hate?:)!
This is the colour I had on,  Hip Hop buy Collection 2000 Hot Looks, I love these nail polishes, because they are so cheap (£1.79), pretty opaque for the price and super shiny! The only problem I have found with them is they chip easy:/
Well what do you guys think? These celebs are wearing it! It is a pretty stand out colour but it is definitely in this Spring! If you want to see other nail polishes which are great for this spring click here to see Jades post on it :)
Comment below on whether you love or hate orange nails ;)!

Maybelline Great Lash Review

Heey Everyone!!

I have to tell you guys about this mascara The Maybelline Great Lash in Black. I got it for Christmas this year and have only just started to really use it purely because I had another one to finish up. I highly reccomend this product I love it and I don't know how I can happily change it.

Excuse my poorly presented nails. this mascara is around the £5 mark, so on the cheaper end of mascaras so my views on it were skeptical. the packaging by the way is so cool it really brightens up my mascara and eyeliner pot;)

it lengthens and thickens beautifully using only one coat, it's quite wet but I like that because I know I've got it all on there. It does leave a few clumps but I don't mind that too much to be honest.

Maybelline are now my always got to brand for mascaras they always deliver, I hope to try another of their mascara.

I don't know much about how brushes make a difference yet but it's furry if thats the right and smaller than any of my other mascara's brushes. Hope that is detailed enough not much else to say.

10 Little Secrets Tag

Heey Everyone!!

I'm trying italics hoping it looks a bit more girly tell me if you like it:)

I saw this tag being done by /essiebutton on youtube who is a lovely youtuber to watch she is wacky and beautiful. So here are your question and answers:)

1. What is one product that makes you feel like a million dollars?

My Lush Shower Gel in Snow Fairy, unfortunately this is only available when the Christmas Collection comes out so honestly you should get it! I have raved about this product many a time I have got a review which you can click here but not before you read this. It's basically a bubblegum candy scent for body and hair and when I use this in the shower I get compliments which obviously I do quite like;)

2. What is your skin care secret?

Well they definitely aren't secrets but I've learned the hard way for all. You must must must take your make-up off at night because bacteria is spreading on your face, plus at night is when your skin goes into repair mode and how can your skin cells do a goo job when there's foundation and blush blocking it's way. Always moisturizer and cleanse I 'm currently using Clean&clear daily face moisturizer and Soap&Glory's Face Soap which seem to be working slowly but surely and lastly do not pick your spots, i know the thought of it is gross but everyone does it even I do but I know I shouldn't.

3. Share your hair care secret?

Again there's more than one but I cannot stress it enough, don't use heat on your hair but if you really must seriously consider using a hair protectant spray I like using the Treseme one in a black bottle. Also conditioner treatments are the best never skip a good condition I love using my Kereste one but if you want a cheaper option I highly recommend the Aussie 3-day miracle one which works just as well I'd say.

4. What is your biggest diet rule?

I don't diet. Eat a balanced diet, feel free to eat a few treats now and then but have the control to not go over board. Treat your body like a temple put only the best produce in it, also drink lots and lots of water, your recommended to drink 8 cups a day but I definitely don't do that and if you do congratulations, I have water at night only to be honest but I plan on changing that.

5. What is your biggest exercise rule?

Try to walk to places rather than driving, something my mum uses to influence her to walk more is using a pedometer you can target yourself an amount of steps per day, try 5,000 I know how that figure looks but honestly it's not a lot. I don't love swimming but I know Gabby does and we go together at our local gym and that is a great way to have fun with a friend whilst burning calories because you don't even realise your doing exercise!

6. Which perfume is your secret weapon?

I can't afford perfume so what I like to use instead are lots of body sprays I am a body spray girl and my all time favourite has got to be the Soap&Glory Mist You Madly spray, it's floral and lasts a good hour or so.

7. What clothing item turns heads?

I have only worn these once and I got noticed and it's these white and blue floral patterned shorts I bought only a few days ago from Primark for £10 I love these shorts I'm constantly finding new tops and blouses that go with them I'll be doing a haul with them soon so watch out for that!

8. What is your most treasured jewllery piece?

I love these ear rings because they are so dainty and cute I got them for Christmas 2 years ago so I would have been 13. They are very expensive a couple hundred pounds so I dont wear it out all that often incase I ever lost it! I also wore these at my cousins wedding where I was a bridesmaid and believe it or no my first ever wedding. So they are sentimental, I'll only wear them during events rather than everyday life.

9. Who are my stylist inspirations?

I don't really have any but with jewllery and make-up I do like voussontbeautbelle on youtube but celebrity wise I do love Selena Gomez's fashion sense really on trend and colourful. I love what she wore at the KCA by the way if you watched it which I still secretly do.

10. Tell us something we don't know about yourself?

Well I'm in Year 10, doing my GCSE's at the moment, I chose to do Drama, French, History, Business Studies (which is a bore!) and Double Science then the compulsory Maths and English Literature and English Language. I'm thinking of doing something in English for my A-Levels too by the way.

And that is it! I did like doing this tag! Sorry for the huge amount of writing and few pictures.

And anyone else who wants to do it:)x

Top 5 Spring Nail Polishes

Heey Everyone!

Haven't been on this in ages it's because blogger wasn't working on internet explorer so I had to download Google Chrome to fix it basically but I'm back!

Here is my top 5 nail polishes to wear for spring!:

No7 - Milan - £7
e.l.f - Mint Cream - £1.50/$1.00
Natural Collection - Pink Shimmer - £1.99
17 - Parma Violet - £2.99
17 - Orange Soda - £2.99

Milan: I love this shimmer pink shade on the toes all year round but in summer when you want to look bright and beautiful this colour for the win! An absolute favourite

Mint Cream: The formulation of these polishes I think isn't great but not appalling so I found this was a colour you can wear once if you don't want chipping. The bright bluey green is so in right now!

Pink Shimmer: Is one of my newer polishes to my collection and I am not at all disappointed, for the price the formulation is really good and lasts for about 3 days and as you can see I've already used quite a bit.

Parma Violet: This polish has been a long term favourite I believe I've had this polish since last summer when pastels were really in I think bright colours are making more of an appearance this summer though but I'll still be rocking this polish

Orange Soda: I find this polish a little bit more difficult to wear purely because I'm not really one who wears a lot of orange but I'm hitting it right on trend with bright colours, which I seem to be mentioning a lot. Certainly a statement polish.

Posted by Jade! Hopefully I've influenced you to go out and buy your brights!
